Is there any chance that hiyacar might consider adding some element of route planning or route notification to their bookings?
The most important aspect of this is to notify non-regular drivers that their route will involve some additional charge, such as congestion charge or river crossing.
I’ve had several rentals where the user forgot, or was unaware, of the Dartford crossing charge for example. The cost is very substantial if you forget (£37.50 if you pay within two weeks, and that is EACH WAY) and not only creates complications for the owner and renter, but also generates a feeling of resentment and frustration about the rental process, making it less likely they will use the service again.
I imagine a simple destination setting in the booking form that queries existing routing solutions (e.g. Google Maps) and if it sees that the most likely routes have warnings for tolls or fees, this is communicated to the driver either during the booking, or at pick-up.
Would be a good service I think
